Photo Op Wednesday

So, photo op wednesday is actually a continuation story from my family blog. Last week we bought Kya dress (see previous post) with her earned points. Every week we go to Pottery Barn Kids for storytime. Each week we got, Kya gets a stamp. After five stamps...we get $10.00 off our next purchase. Last week she got five stamps and so we bought her a dress.
Photo Op Wednesday this week is pictures of Kya at storytime. She loves to read...

...but this time she was more interested in playing with the horse than listening to storytime.

Photo Op Wednesday

I am not sure if its because I am the mother and the photographer, but trying to get Kya to perform was a bit of a challenge. She really wanted to be taking the pictures and seeing herself on the LCD screen. She kept saying "help". I may not have a model on my hands, but an assistant with each session. Either way, she did put on a "happy" face for me for some pics.

Here I was trying to get her to put her hands just below her chin and smile. This is what I got. In the end, I found it to be a very successful photo session. This is Kya, being herself.

Picking Up

Ok, so I am still here and still going. As with all good things in life...it takes time to build a business. My blog has been a bit lonely for the last month. I am picking up again and looking forward to some fun sessions. Be watching for more "Photo Op Wednesday" pics. Also in the near future, paulaKdecor is preparing for some fun home decor sessions. Stay tuned for those pics.
